Help is here!
Waiting isn’t easy, as fans of Lost know more than most. This is the fourth time you guys have had to suffer the seemingly endless limbo of the Lost hiatus – come to think of it, passing time until a new season of J. J. Abrams’ hit show to arrive on our airwaves is a bit like being marooned on a desert island. Still, chapter five is just about creeping onto the horizon now, and a new issue of Lost Magazine is here to make the wait a whole lot more bearable.
In issue #20, check out sensational interviews with Evangeline Lilly (Kate) and Jorge Garcia (Hurley), and loads more extra features (check out the rest of this page for details). Speaking of extra features, in this issue we bring you the lowdown on the new Lost: The Complete Fourth Season DVD and Blu-ray box sets.

Issue Spotlight
Evangeline Lilly
‘I feel like Kate will eventually unravel. And although she is maternal, that maternal instinct can only run so deep when it is not her child…’
For Kate Austen, escaping from the island has led to her most challenging personal journey: pretending she is the mother of Claire’s son, Aaron. With season five approaching, Evangeline Lilly talks exclusively to Lost Magazine about Kate’s evolution.
Features

Jorge Garcia
As well as an exclusive ‘By the Fire’ chat with Evangeline Lilly, the new issue of Lost Magazine brings you a host of cast interviews, with Jorge Garcia leading the way! Preparing to head to the Lost set for the season five premiere shoot, he ponders what lies ahead for Hugo Reyes after Sayid successfully, and memorably, broke him out of a mental institution. We also talk to Mark Vann about his mysterious role as the freighter’s ill-fated Dr. Ray, while Anthony Azizi (Omar) discusses his personal connections to Lost.

Beyond the Hatch
In our ‘Beyond the Hatch’ zone we take you even closer to the making of Lost. In this issue, we leave the eerie mythology of the show to one side and celebrate one of season four’s lighter moments – Sawyer, Locke and Hurley’s game of Risk – with a behind-the-scenes photo gallery. Also in this issue, continuing our look back at the jaw-dropping last season, Lost writers Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse, and Brian K. Vaughan reveal their favorite moments.

Giving Something Back…
Lost’s awe-inspiring home of Hawaii is awash with incredibly atmospheric landscapes, and has been a huge factor in creating the show’s unique look and appeal. In the latest issue, Co-Executive Producer Jean Higgins explains why it is vital for Lost as a production to reward and invest in the land they work in: ‘We’ve set up internships with the University and schools. We do a lot of charity work, which I think is an important thing to do. We’ve been very lucky and successful and we need to spread that Hawaii is not a wealthy state.’

Lost on Location
The Lost location team, led by Jim Triplett, talk exclusively about their vital role.
Momento Mori
As Tom Friendly, a key member of the Others, has met his maker, we recall some of his most memorable scenes.
